Duties Deliver prepared lessons in accordance with curriculum guidelines across different subjects and grade levels Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment for all students Implement curriculum plans and adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs Support students' social-emotional development through positive behavior management techniques Communicate with school staff, teachers, and parents about student progress and classroom activities Utilize educational technologies and computers to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement Follow school policies, mandated reporting laws, and safety procedures diligently during all interactions Skills Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and curriculum implementation Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse student behaviors Experience working with children from various cultural backgrounds and with individuals with autism or special needs Proven ability to adapt instruction for different learning styles and developmental levels in early childhood education or literacy education Effective communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff Familiarity with educational technologies and computers for instructional purposes Knowledge of childhood development principles, math, and literacy education strategies Understanding of school policies, mandated reporting laws, and best practices in childcare and education Join us as a Substitute Teacher and help shape the future by inspiring young minds!
