A Substitute Teacher teaches or supervises classes for teachers who are away on leave or sick. May substitute for teachers at several different schools or school districts. May substitute for one day or for a longer term absence; may follow lesson plans developed by the regular teacher, or work with teacher who will be out to create new lesson plans and assignments.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM (school hours may vary by campus). Substitute Teacher Responsibilities As a Substitute Teacher, you will: Follow teacher lesson plans and guide students through daily instruction Maintain a structured, respectful, and productive classroom environment Manage student behavior and keep students engaged throughout the school day Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and recess as needed Communicate effectively with school administrators and staff regarding student behavior or concerns For long-term Substitute Teacher assignments, additional responsibilities may include lesson planning and providing enhanced classroom support.
