8/2026 Primary Purpose To enable each child to pursue his/her education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of the regular employee Qualifications Education/Certification Certified teachers must provide a copy of their certification and a transcript 15 hours of college credit or waiver letter with detailed information on previous work with children in an educational environment. A copy of a transcript reflecting a minimum of 15 hours is required.

Consults with the principal and/or staff to resolve questions and/or concerns Complies with all building procedures and schedules. Promotes proper use and care of school property Teaches scheduled classes. Prepares a written summary of work completed. Upholds board policies and follows administrative procedures Implements effective pupil management procedures. Maintains high standards and upholds the student conduct code Works cooperatively with other teachers Maintains accurate records and submits reports on time Respects personal privacy. Maintains the confidentiality of privileged information Maintains acceptable attendance record and is punctual Performs other specific job-related duties as directed Ability to effectively function on the Frontline substitute system
