Middle School & High School Position Overview The Christian School at Castle Hills is seeking dependable, caring, and faith-driven Substitute Teachers to provide classroom coverage for Middle and High School students when regular teachers are absent. Responsibilities Follow the lesson plans and instructions provided by the classroom teacher. Supervise and manage Middle and High School students. Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom. Take attendance and ensure students complete assigned work. Monitor student behavior according to CHS policies. Communicate any student or classroom concerns to administration. Follow all school policies and procedures. Serve as a positive Christian role model for students. Qualifications Christian faith and commitment to CHS's mission and biblical values. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Dependable, punctual, patient, and flexible. Ability to work with Middle and High School students. Previous teaching, tutoring, coaching, youth ministry, or classroom experience preferred. Bachelor's degree or college experience preferred, but relevant experience will be considered. Schedule This is an on-call position based on school needs and the substitute's availability. Assignments may be for individual days or multiple consecutive days. All employment is contingent upon completion of required background checks and school screening.
