Receive paid training, consistent communication, and a team that's always in your corner Your Day-to-Day Impact As a Substitute Teacher in the Waco, TX area, you'll: Lead classrooms by following teacher-provided lesson plans with confidence and enthusiasm Build a welcoming, respectful, and engaging space for all students Encourage participation, teamwork, and curiosity through clear communication and structure Supervise students throughout the day — in class, hallways, lunch, and recess Maintain attendance and share updates or concerns with school staff For long-term roles: plan and deliver lessons that align with Harmony Schools academic standards

Schedule Availability:

Monday-Friday Full Day:

7:30 AM•4:00

PM Half Day:

7:30 AM•12:00 PM or 11:30 AM•4:00

PM What You Bring Education:

Minimum of 60 college credit hours or an Associate's Degree (required)

Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree or valid

Texas Teaching Certification Experience:

1+ year in a classroom or childcare setting (preferred)

Skills:

Strong communication, classroom management, and leadership abilities
