If you have a heart for Christian education and want to make a difference in the lives of students, we would love to meet you! Join our dedicated team as a Substitute Teacher or Teacher Assistant and help create a positive, Christ-centered learning environment. In these roles, you will support classroom teachers, encourage students, and help ensure learning continues smoothly when regular staff members are away. This paid opportunity is a great way to serve children, gain valuable classroom experience, and become part of a supportive school community. Hours are flexible depending on the need of the day. We have an extended care program that opens at 6:45 am and closes at 6:00 pm. We have both preschool and elementary grades K-6. Maybe you aren't comfortable with preschool but you love elementary or the other way around. We have opportunities for various ages and times and will work with your availability. Responsibilities Supervise and manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students Assist with instructional tasks, including literacy education, math activities, and early childhood development exercises Maintain classroom behavior management protocols to foster positive social interactions and learning habits Assist classroom teacher with filing, grading or daily classroom tasks.
