Job Description

Wythe County Public Schools is seeking responsible, flexible, and enthusiastic substitutes for the following positions: Teachers, paraprofessionals, cafeteria workers, clerical, and custodians.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

You must be at least 18 years old to be a substitute at the elementary level and must be at least 21 years old to work at the middle and high school levels

Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred

Work Schedule:

On-call, as needed

Assignments may be for part-day, full-day, or multiple days

Pay Rates

Substitute Teacher

2 YR. degree or less $112.50/day

4 YR. degree $117.50/day

Certified Teacher $125.00/day

Clerical $120.00/day

Paraprofessional $105.00/day

Hourly Jobs

Cafeteria $15.00/hour

Custodian $15.00/hour
