Job Description
Vergennes Union Elementary School is seeking Long-Term Substitutes for Physical Education from November 10, 2026 through February 2, 2027.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Social emotional needs of students including implementation of PBIS and Responsive Classroom Strategies
Developmental needs of students within a rigorous classroom setting
Evidence based instructional approaches
Multi-Tiered System of Supports and use of data to inform instruction
Use of formative and summative assessments within a proficiency-based reporting system
Collaboration within a team structure
Experience working with early elementary students preferred, but not required
