Immediately Job Description We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic substitute teacher. The subject areas taught range from preschool through 8th grade which include, but not limited to: language arts, math, science, social studies, religion, PE, art, music, and Spanish. The substitute teacher will be able to follow lesson plans and execute them with fidelity and give instruction, as needed. Also, the substitute teacher may be asked to help in the main office. Additionally, the substitute teacher will communicate with all faculty members in order to maintain the schoolwide curriculum, build a positive school climate and promote Christian values in accordance with the school's mission. Qualified applicants will have strong communication and organization skills, the ability to problem solve, classroom management skills, and dynamic teaching strategies. Additional requirements include supervision of students at morning/afternoon duties as well as recess/lunch duties.
