Substitute Teacher Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Substitute Teacher to join our educational team. The successful candidate will provide continuity of instruction and support to our students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline Support students' academic, social, and emotional development Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment Assist with classroom activities and assessments as needed Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents if necessary Adhere to school policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree; higher education or teaching certification preferred Previous experience working with children or adolescents is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong classroom management skills Flexibility and adaptability Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Working Conditions:

Part-time or full-time, based on availability; on-call position Daily rate of $175 Working with students in grades K4 through 8th grade Ability to work with students of various ages and needs Provide a positive role model for students
