Position Summary As a Substitute Title I Interventionist, you will deliver small-group reading/ELA and/or math interventions using lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the primary Intervention Teacher. You will support students academically through teaching those plans with fidelity and keeping students engaged and enjoying learning. Assignments may serve students in grades K-8 or 9-12 based on your licensure area. This position is a substitute position and there is no minimum hours per week requirement. You can work around your schedule, however, we are looking for candidates that have Monday-Friday availability from 7am-4pm to be able to have the best opportunity for substitute coverage at our school sites. Key Responsibilities Provide engaging small-group intervention instruction in reading/ELA and/or math Deliver provided lesson plans with fidelity and consistency Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs Record student attendance Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment Adhere to all educational policies, procedures, and professional standards. Present and conduct yourself in a respectful and appropriate manner at all school site locations. If you are interested and take on a Long Term Substitute role, the following additional responsibilities will also be expected: Administer and analyze STAR assessment data to guide instruction and monitor growth Track student performance and intervention progress using online tools Communicate effectively with school staff and families regarding student progress Participate in parent-teacher conferences and family engagement events Create lesson plans with a structure curriculum using data to drive differentiation and scaffolding needs of students for each group. Required Qualifications Valid Wisconsin Provisional or Lifetime Teaching License in regular education, Math, Reading, English, or ELA Strong instructional and classroom management skills Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfortable using online platforms for progress monitoring and data analysis Commitment to collaboration, professionalism, and student success Comfortable using technology such as laptops, smart boards, etc Comfortable with online programs such as Google Suites, GoGuardian, etc Preferred Qualifications Reading/ELA or Math teaching license Experience providing intervention or specialized instruction Familiarity with Renaissance STAR Knowledge of Title I services in non-public school settings Experience working collaboratively within educational teams Previous experience working with K-8 or 9-12 students Why Join Us?
