Are you a passionate educator who thrives in a supportive, real-world learning environment? Do you want to help young adults gain independence and find long-term employment? CESA 1's Project SEACH programs, which help young adults build job skills, are adding a dynamic and enthusiastic Substitute Teacher to our dedicated team. This is more than just a subbing assignment- it's a chance directly support interns as they buld workplace skills in an immersive work setting at either the Milwaukee County Zoo or Children's Wisconsin.
Transformative Impact:
Support young adult interns (ages 18-24) with disabilities in a business-led transition program. You will help interns develop job readiness, communication, and independence as they prepare for competitive community employment.Highly Supportive Team:
Work directly on-site at a host business alongside Job Coaches and vocational partners who provide strong daily guidance and support.Meaningful Daily Work:
You'll play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment to support interns as they apply employment skills in their rotations. If you're passionate about education, vocational growth, and empowering young adults for the future, we want to hear from you!QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's Degree or be enrolled in an Educator Preparation Program. Valid Department of Public Instruction license as a Substitute Teacher.- If you do not have a license, we will train you and help you become licensed.
