Job Description & Responsibilities:

The role and responsibility of the Substitute Teacher includes, but not limited to: Carrying out necessary daily tasks and responsibilities in place of the Teacher whose absence is being substituted Reviewing, implementing and following lessons prepared by the absent teacher Possessing strong classroom management skills Engaging students Demonstrating a passion for working with students Creating a safe and nurturing educational learning environment Maintaining a positive, friendly, and respectful demeanor at all times Establishing positive relationships

Requirements:

Associates, Bachelors Degree or higher Classroom experience preferred but not required Criminal History Background Check - both State and Federal Excellent communication skills Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction License to sub. If you don't have a current teaching license then you can apply for a substitute teacher permit. This can be obtained after applying in WECAN and speaking with a Fidelis staff member.
