A Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by providing extra individual attention and instruction to students. Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities and lesson plans Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times Support children's social, emotional, and physical development Help with classroom organization and cleanliness Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff Assist with meals, snacks, and toileting/diapering as needed Encourage a positive, respectful, and engaging learning environmentQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (early childhood coursework a plus!) Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for children Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.Great Environment:
