Residential Program Assistant
Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Residential Services Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of a newly established independent living home . This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing program during its early stages, with significant potential for increased hours, responsibilities, and advancement as the home expands.
Initially, this position will be part-time with limited hours while the home is being established and client enrollment grows. As the program develops, this role has the potential to grow into a larger leadership or operational position . Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary local point of contact for residents, families, vendors, and support teams. Conduct regular check-ins at the home (minimum 2-3 visits per week). Assist with onboarding and transition of new clients moving into the home. Support residents with general questions, concerns, and problem resolution . Coordinate responses to home-related issues, maintenance needs, and repairs . Communicate with vendors, contractors, and service providers as needed. Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming living environment . Monitor the overall condition of the home and report concerns. Assist with documentation, organization, and operational tasks . Identify opportunities to improve resident experience and home operations . Support program growth and development as the home expands. Qualifications Experience in residential services, independent living, supported living, property management, human services, or a related field preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills . Ability to work independently and take initiative. Reliable transportation and ability to make local site visits. Professional, dependable, and resident-focused mindset . Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism . Schedule & Compensation Part-Time Position Flexible schedule based on current program needs. Initial hours may be limited during startup phase. Hours and responsibilities expected to increase as the home grows. Opportunity for advancement into a larger operational or management role. Pay:
