You'll have the unique experience of ensuring students remain engaged during their sessions through VOCOVision technology, and you'll also contribute classroom support when speech services are not in session.

Key Qualifications:

Completion of at least an Associates Degree, or successful passage of the WorkKeys test, or possession of substitute certification. Previous experience working within a school environment is required. Must be able to successfully complete and pass background and fingerprint clearance checks. Strong interpersonal skills and a caring, attentive demeanor when working with students. Comfort with basic technology platforms for virtual learning facilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

Guide students to and oversee their participation in virtual speech-language therapy sessions using VOCOVision. Prepare materials and spaces as required to facilitate effective therapy and learning environments. Monitor student attentiveness and engagement, addressing any issues to maximize student benefit during therapy. Offer general paraprofessional support within classrooms during periods when facilitation services are not needed. Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment for all students.
