Instructional Paraprofessional Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Completion of 48 semester hours of post-secondary education required. Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA) preferred. Coursework in the field of Early Childhood or Child Development preferred. Must meet NCLB Highly Qualified Paraprofessional criteria.Reports To:

183Days Performance Responsibilities:
Participate in daily and long-range planning for assigned area. Prepare classroom materials and develop activities for assigned area. Conduct activities with individuals and small groups in assigned areas. Assist in preparing class displays and bulletin boards for assigned areas. Assist in duties related to assigned area. Assist with classroom management in assigned area. Assist with clerical work, projects and programs, special events and field trips in assigned area. Alert the teacher to special needs of individual students in assigned area. Maintain confidentiality with regard to student performance and records. Performs other tasks as assigned by the Principal/Designee, as long as they are not in conflict with board policy.Evaluation:
