Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a real impact in students' lives as a contract Paraprofessional Facilitator, supporting innovative virtual Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services through the end of the school year. In this dynamic role, you'll work closely with virtual SLPs to prepare students for their sessions at select sites. Adaptability is at the heart of the position; when you're not providing direct support for SLP services, you'll assist teachers in classroom operations, ensuring all students receive the attention they deserve. Your ability to engage young learners and collaborate seamlessly with other educators will make you an invaluable resource across multiple locations. Key qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher, or successful completion of the WorkKeys test Previous paraprofessional experience in a school setting Ability to pass fingerprints and background check Adaptable, proactive, and ready to step in where needed Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable with supporting both virtual and in-person instruction Daily responsibilities: Welcome and supervise students for their virtual SLP sessions Assist in preparing digital and physical materials as needed Provide classroom support when SLP services are not scheduled Communicate effectively with virtual SLPs, classroom teachers, and staff Foster a positive, inclusive environment for all students Travel between select locations as required You'll enjoy the rewards of seeing students make progress while broadening your skills in both special education and classroom support.
