Job Description

Step into a vital role supporting students' communication and educational growth as a Paraprofessional Facilitator. This contract opportunity is based on-site, working with a dynamic caseload of approximately 33 kindergarten through 5th-grade students. Youll play an essential part in delivering engaging, impactful services in collaboration with a virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), acting as the crucial on-site link for students participating in remote speech therapy sessions.
Key Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Paraprofessional, preferably in a school setting Skilled communicator comfortable supporting young learners Technologically adept, able to assist with devices and platforms (training provided) Adaptable, organized, and able to work independently within a team-focused environment Ability to foster student engagement and ensure a positive experience during virtual sessions
Primary Responsibilities:
Support students (K-5th) during virtual speech therapy sessions by facilitating communication between students and the remote speech provider Serve as the on-site extension (hands and feet) for the SLP, assisting students with technology and any session needs Clearly relay information to the virtual provider and report any noteworthy events or concerns Act as a liaison between clinicians and the school, ensuring smooth session delivery and student participation Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a safe learning environment This position spans the school year, with a flexible yet consistent 35-hour work week at one school site.
