Job Summary The School Aide will provide support for the University Academy with students and teachers in the classroom. Essential Functions Aid with direct instruction of students (individually or in small groups) under the supervision of a teacher. Reinforce student management (in and out of the classroom). Facilitate preparing instructional material and classroom for daily lessons supervised by the teacher. Assist with other campus activities or duties as needed, breakfast and lunch duty, pick-up duty, etc. Other duties as assigned.

Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. General subject content knowledge. General knowledge of curriculum and instruction. Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior. Experience working with special needs students. Ethical. Ability to maintain confidential information. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Two (2) years relevant experience. May accept combination of education and experience. Required Certifications/Licenses Educational Aide certification.
