YOU MUST HAVE DIRECT EXPERIENCE IN CHILDCARE TO APPLY FOR THIS JOB. ALL REFERENCES WILL BE CHECKED.
Plan and implement individual and group daily learning experiences for children that advance their school readiness skills and stimulates language, social, emotional, and motor skills growth. Oversee the management and supervision of children in order to ensure a safe, clean, and healthy learning environment. Ensure implementation of the academy's approved curriculum plan. Form relationships with parents to foster effective learning environments for the child. Ensure compliance with Arkansas Minimum Licensing requirements and other federal and state regulations. Ensure progress in all areas of child development and early learning as outlined in the Early Learning Framework. Maintain records and reporting systems and ensure accurate and timely information is entered into academy's data tracking systems. Plan and prepare special events or activities. Complete a minimum of 15 professional development clock hours per year. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of the center. Professional and Ethical Standards Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children, families, and staff in accordance to the center's policies and legal requirements. Be honest, reliable and dependable. Maintain a positive work ethic and work as a team member. Qualifications Have and maintain a valid Driver's license and vehicle insurance. Maintain current CPR/First Aid certification. Pass state Criminal Background Check, Central Registry Check, and/or FBI Background Check if applicable. (Preferred) Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. Combination of five years teaching, management, and supervisory experience preferred.

$11.00 - $13.75 per hour
