Job Description
Job Summary Creative Minds Leadership Academy is seeking a dedicated and dependable Paraprofessional to join our team. In this role, you will support teachers and students in a structured, supportive classroom environment that promotes academic growth, positive behavior, and social-emotional learning (SEL). We are looking for individuals who are patient, reliable, and passionate about helping students succeed. Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with daily classroom instruction
- Provide small group and one-on-one academic support
- Support student behavior using positive and structured techniques
- Help maintain a focused, organized classroom environment
- Supervise students during transitions and activities
- Support social-emotional learning and student development Qualifications
- Experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patient, dependable, and professional
- Ability to support both academic and behavioral needs Preferred
- Background in education, childcare, or behavioral support
Pay:
$14- 17 per hour (based on experience)

In this vital role, you will work closely with teachers, students, and families to foster a positive learning environment that supports student success. Whether working with preschoolers, students with disabilities, or those in early childhood education settings, your role is essential in nurturing growth and development. Responsibilities Assist teachers in delivering lesson plans across subjects such as literacy education, math, and curriculum development tailored to diverse student needs Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment and encouraging appropriate behavior through effective behavior management techniques Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students with special needs, including those with autism or other disabilities Help implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and adapt activities for students requiring additional support Support early childhood education initiatives by engaging children in age-appropriate activities that promote social-emotional development and childhood development milestones Manage classroom routines, including transitions, attendance, and organization of materials for preschool, daycare, or private school settings Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and specialists to report on student progress and behavioral observations Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in educational or childcare environments such as daycare, preschool, or private schools Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Knowledge of early childhood education principles, Montessori methods, or toddler care is highly desirable Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development for young learners or students requiring specialized instruction Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists Background in behavior management strategies to support positive student interactions and classroom harmony Demonstrated ability to work patiently and compassionately with children at various developmental stages Join us in creating inspiring educational experiences where every child can thrive!
