Job Description

Kindergrove Preschool and Children's Center is now hiring! Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Teacher and Teacher Assistant in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program! In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in nurturing young children's development, fostering a love of learning, and creating a safe, engaging classroom environment. Whether you're leading lessons or supporting classroom activities, your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire young minds to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of children, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a positive classroom atmosphere by managing behavior effectively and employing classroom management techniques to promote respectful interactions. Support children's social-emotional growth through child development instruction and early intervention strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss concerns, and foster collaborative relationships. Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws, maintaining child welfare standards, and applying first aid when needed. Assist in planning and executing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, motor, and social skills for toddlers and preschoolers. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, standardized testing results, lesson plans, and classroom records to support ongoing assessment and reporting. Experience Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare centers or preschools. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, special education needs, and early intervention techniques. Classroom experience with curriculum development across various domains including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Familiarity with behavior management strategies and classroom management best practices. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Certification in first aid and CPR is required, and we will help you obtain and renew; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is highly valued. Experience with standardized testing procedures and tutoring young learners is a plus.
