Job Description
Grow with Grace Learning Center is a privately owned Christian preschool in Casa Grande caring for children 1-5 years old. We have a very good reputation in the community for being a high quality early education learning center. You can learn about our program on our website, www.gwgrace.com. We are seeking to hire a part time afternoon Toddler Assistant Teacher for our 1-2 year old class. The anticipated schedule would be 15 hours/week, Monday-Friday 2:30-5:30, but could change based on the needs of the program.
•All staff are required to sign an agreement with our Statement of Faith which can be found on our website, www.gwgrace.com
•We prefer candidates have 6 months verifiable childcare experience working in a licensed facility or school, but it is not required. This is an ideal position for students who will be seniors in high school in the 2026-2027 school year.
The responsibilities will include:
Supervise children as well as engage in activities with children. Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing the lesson plan and curriculum. Provide creative input into classroom design and art projects. Give the children loving care and attention. Build positive and trusting relationships with families. Clean the classroom by sweeping, washing floors, washing tables and toys, taking out trash, and any cleaning tasks needed to keep the classroom clean and neat. Ensure the physical environment and health/safety standards are in full compliance with state licensing regulations. Be willing to help where needed for the successful operation of the program. Must be flexible and able to adjust to change as needed. Other duties as assigned to support the program, including attending staff meetings and maintaining required continuing education hours. Complete 30 hours of continuing education each year.
Qualifications:
A signed agreement with our Statement of Faith is required. Our Statement of Faith is found on our website, www.gwgrace.com Prefer 6 months experience working in a licensed facility or school, but not required. Students must be in their senior year in high school in the 2026-2027 school year. Must provide a copy of a high school diploma, GED, or letter showing evidence you are in your senior year in high school. CPR and First Aide Certification or the ability to get the certification within 90 days of starting. Current fingerprint clearance card or the ability to get one prior to start date.
