Instructional Aide - Special Education North Peoria, AZ $28.00 per Hour School-Based Position | Monday-Friday Make a Difference Every Day We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable Instructional Aide to support students with special needs in a school setting in North Peoria. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping students overcome challenges and experience success both academically and socially. Position Responsibilities Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students with special needs. Assist students with behavioral needs, including non-compliance, emotional regulation, and classroom participation. Support students with sensory needs by implementing accommodations and strategies that promote engagement and comfort. Help students stay on task and complete academic assignments and classroom activities. Reinforce positive behaviors and support individualized behavior intervention plans. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success. Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment. Document observations and communicate appropriately with school personnel. This Position Is a

Has experience working with children or individuals with developmental, behavioral, or learning disabilities. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card. Current CPR Certification. Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Certification. Ability to pass all required background checks. Reliable transportation and professional attendance. Preferred Qualifications Previous school-based experience. Experience supporting students with autism, ADHD, emotional disabilities, sensory processing needs, or behavioral challenges. Special education, behavioral health, or paraprofessional experience.
