In this vital role, you will provide essential support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and other special education requirements. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with families to support individuals with learning differences and promote positive behavioral and educational outcomes in their chosen setting. Duties Support students including those with disabilities by providing academic assistance, behavioral management, and communication support when applicable. Assist classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards such as literacy, math, and early childhood education principles. Collaborate with other professionals to execute effective strategies for student support. Support students during instructional activities, including lesson planning, literacy education, math exercises, and toddler or childcare routines. Handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for all students. Assist with classroom organization, materials preparation, and basic administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. Motivate and Inspire Students! Experience Preference Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of special education practices, including behavior management for students with behavioral disorders or autism spectrum disorders. Experience supporting students with disabilities through classroom support roles in private or public educational environments. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to collaborate with team members and families. Knowledge of ESA (Empowerment Scholarship Account).
