Housing Program Assistant RW Staffing Solutions Phoenix, AZ Job Details Temporary | Contract $25 - $27 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Free parking Qualifications Spanish Filing English Bachelor's degree Attention to detail Property management Full Job Description Temporary Contract, Full Time | 6+ months RW Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Housing Program Assistant to support the City of Phoenix Housing Department. This is a hands on, resident facing role managing the day to day administration of public housing units, from lease renewals and recertifications through inspections and evictions. Responsibilities Administer tenant recertifications, lease renewals, and rent determinations Manage the eviction process, including preparing and executing required documentation Conduct household and unit inspections to ensure compliance with housing quality standards Collect rent and maintain accurate payment records Interpret and explain housing policies, regulations, and legal documents to residents and stakeholders Resolve resident issues and provide referrals to support services Maintain organized files, complete forms, and prepare clear, accurate reports Qualifications Property management experience required; public housing, Section 8, or affordable housing experience strongly preferred Experience with income verification, rent calculations, and annual recertifications Knowledge of the eviction process and lease enforcement Unit inspection experience (HQS or NSPIRE a plus) Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills Strong record keeping and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Bachelor's degree preferred Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Application Question(s): Do you have experience processing tenant recertifications, including income verification and rent calculations, for public housing, Section 8, or affordable housing? Have you handled evictions or lease enforcement, including preparing notices and required documentation? This position is located in downtown Phoenix and requires paying for monthly employee parking, approximately $30 to $47 per month. Are you comfortable with this? Do you have a valid Arizona driver's license and a driving record that would pass an MVD screening?
