Job Description

Pay:
$19-$20/hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-4:00
PM Hours:
Typically 30-40 hours per week, with occasional additional hours for school events and activities The Learning Vine is a small microschool, so this isn't your typical teacher assistant position. We need a trusted extra set of hands!

You might be a great fit if you… Genuinely enjoy working with kids and teenagers Have a passion for education "outside the box" Are dependable, hardworking, and professional. Are organized Notice what needs to be done without always being asked. Take direction and feedback well. Can confidently redirect students and hold students to a high standard while being kind. Are enthusiastic or creative Stay productive without someone standing over your shoulder. Are comfortable jumping in wherever you're needed. Bring a positive attitude and genuinely want to be part of your school community. What might you actually do? A little bit of everything! Work one-on-one with a student, support a small group, grade papers, make copies, walk students through a mini lesson, supervise students, organize materials, help with an event, make a flyer, text a parent back or jump in to solve whatever the day throws at us. Some days you'll know exactly what you're doing when you walk in. Other days... welcome to a school. What matters most to us! Experience with children or education is wonderful, but character, work ethic, and attitude matter even more. We're looking for reliability, initiative, humility, professionalism, creativity, and a willingness to work. We are a small team. We have each other's backs, we work hard for our students, we laugh a lot, and everybody pitches in. If you love kids, enjoy variety, and get a weird amount of satisfaction from being the person everyone can count on—we would really like to meet you.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 43.0 per week
