Rise48 Equity is a vertically integrated multifamily real estate investment firm headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. Since 2019 we have completed more than $2.6 billion in transactions across 65-plus assets and 12,000-plus units in high-growth Sun Belt markets. As a licensed Legal Paraprofessional, you will own the eviction docket from notice through judgment and writ — preparing filings, appearing in Justice Court, and advising property teams on Arizona landlord-tenant procedure within your licensed scope. The accuracy of every filing is yours: a defective notice or an unreconciled ledger costs the company the case and another month of possession. Contested matters and anything outside your scope go to outside counsel. Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and file eviction actions in Arizona Justice Courts, from notice through judgment. Appear for Rise48 Equity at eviction hearings as a licensed Legal Paraprofessional, including contested matters within your licensed scope. Verify the resident ledger, the notice, and proof of service on every case before it is filed, and correct defects before they reach a judge. Manage the full eviction docket in Entrata — case status, deadlines, hearing dates, and outcomes — so the record is current and reportable at any time. Coordinate service of process, writs of restitution, and lockout scheduling with constables, vendors, and on-site teams. Advise property and regional teams on Arizona landlord-tenant procedure within your licensed scope, and tell them plainly when a matter is outside it. Escalate appeals and any matter outside your licensed scope to outside counsel, with the file organized and the deadlines identified. Reconcile judgment amounts and post-judgment balances against resident ledgers in Entrata. Maintain case records and documentation to a standard that withstands court challenge and internal audit. Maintain your Arizona Legal Paraprofessional license in good standing, including all continuing education and professional conduct obligations. Required Qualifications Active Arizona Legal Paraprofessional license in limited jurisdiction civil , in good standing at the time of hire. 1-3 years of substantive law-related experience, landlord-tenant work preferred. Working knowledge of the Arizona Residential Landlord and Tenant Act and the Arizona Rules of Procedure for Eviction Actions. Ability to appear at justice courts and Rise48 properties throughout the Phoenix metro on a varying schedule, with or without reasonable accommodation. Travel is approximately 25-50% of working time. Preferred Qualifications High-volume multifamily or single-family eviction docket experience. Entrata experience. Bilingual, English and Spanish. Compensation & Benefits $60,000 - $72,000 base, commensurate with experience, plus a performance bonus. Medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), and paid time off. On-site in North Scottsdale.
