Burbank, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $18.60 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Paid training Health insurance Referral program Qualifications CPR Certification BLS Certification High school diploma or GED Driver's License First Aid Certification Performing background checks Full Job Description Vision Life is hiring dependable and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide in-home support to adults with physical and developmental disabilities, including individuals who may experience behavioral challenges. You'll provide hands-on support, positive redirection, and encouragement while helping individuals remain safe, healthy, and as independent as possible in their own homes. Responsibilities Support with daily living activities (ADLs), personal care, and hygiene as needed Coach independent living skills, community integration, and social activities Follow person-centered plans and behavioral strategies; complete accurate, timely documentation Assist with medications per policy (if trained/authorized) Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow health/safety protocols Communicate professionally with individuals served, families, and team members Must be dog friendly Minimum requirements 18+ years old; high school diploma or equivalent Valid CA driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance Able to pass DOJ/FBI background check (Live Scan) and eligible to work in the U.S. Current or willingness to obtain quickly: CPR/First Aid and TB/health screening Completion of required new-hire and in-service trainings (paid) Experience as a DSP/caregiver preferred but not required Ability to assist with transfers and be on your feet for extended periods What we offer Full-time schedule Starting pay of $18.60 per hour Paid training and ongoing professional development Supportive team culture with growth opportunities Live Scan reimbursement at 50% with receipt (per company policy) Optional on-call/backup shifts for additional hoursSchedule Requirements:
6:00 AM- 2:00 PM/2:00 PM
- 10:00 PM/10:00 PM
- 6:00 AM shifts.

Ability to work in Burbank and Glendale Typical availability (mornings/days/evenings/overnights/weekends) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Current CPR/First Aid and TB clearance (or willingness to obtain promptly) Comfort with providing personal care Ability to complete a Live Scan background check immediately upon receiving a job offer.
