Instructional Support /Paraeducator Role Overview:
Performs instructional tasks assigned on a one-to-one or small group basis in a classroom, lab, or whole-class environment.Classroom & Behavior Support:
Assists with classroom management and positive behavior interventions. Experience in behavior tracking, positive behavior supports (PBIS), or de-escalation strategies—along with prior experience working with student behaviors or behavioral intervention plans—is highly preferred, but not required.Instructional Support:
Supports student learning through individualized or small-group instructional activities.Classroom Routine:
Assists teachers with daily tasks, including taking attendance and setting up classroom equipment or instructional demonstrations.Collaboration & Training:
Participates in planning sessions with teachers and attends assigned pre-service or in-service training.Qualifications & Skills:
Ability to work effectively with high school students in instructional settings. Good communication skills and a willingness to participate in relevant professional development.
