• $28 Per Hour Length of Work Year 10.5 months Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Job Summary Instructional Aides are an integral part of the OCS community. As an Instructional Aide, you will:
• Assist the classroom teacher and Intervention Coach in implementing a student-centered, environment for all students.
• Assist teachers in implementing various academic and/or supplemental and intervention programs.
• Assist students in specialty classes.
• Use Responsive Classroom methods/strategies.
• Provide feedback to classroom teacher and Intervention Specialist about student progress;
• Assist in maintaining records, and collecting data.
• Provide feedback and information to the school's administration about the campus, students, and daily operations as needed and appropriate within a timely manner.
• Aid in creating an positive school environment.
• Aid students in effective conflict resolution opportunities and document outcomes accordingly.
• Be an active member of the OCS with a positive attitude and attend weekly meetings as assigned.
• Supervise students on the playground during recess and lunch periods.
