Daily Pay Range:
$20- $23/hr Pay will vary for day-to-day assignments and is typically more for long-term placements.

Role Requirements:
Passion for education and putting students first An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be 48 College credits, Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree or CBEST Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor State & federal background checks TB risk assessment or test Youll stand out if you have: Worked with children who have Special Education needs Spent time in Special Education settings Any Special Education specific training ABA experience (Applied Behavior Analysis) Experience working in K-12 schools Experience with assisting in various mod to severe scenarios such as Toileting; Personal 1:1 Care; Non-Verbal; Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom What youll do: Work closely with students with special needs in small group or 1:1 settings Build rapport and trust with the children in your care Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment Support resource teacher(s) in delivering IEP's (individual education plans) Take direction from lead educators and assist when needed Some roles include assisting various mod to severe scenarios such as Toileting; Personal 1:1 Care; Non-Verbal; Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom Comfortable working with medically fragile/high behavior situations Sitting, standing, and walking, and able to lift up to 30 lbs while safely assisting students Observe and communicate across varied environments, incl. indoor and outdoor settings Additional role requirements will be in the handbook and shared during the interview process About Scoot Education Scoot Education is a thoughtful staffing partner with a mission to help create exceptional experiences in education.
