Three school districts serve the overall student population for Chowchilla and the surrounding area, including Alview-Dairyland Union School District (ADUSD) and Chowchilla Elementary School District (CESD), which both feed students into the Chowchilla Union High School District programs. Both ADUSD and CESD are K-8 programs.

Job Summary Job Summary Under general supervision, to perform a variety of instructional support duties involved in providing instructional assistance to individuals or small groups of students who qualify for special education programs full inclusion classrooms to help provide site-based special education services in all academic areas necessary to help the IEP team meet the goals and objectives of each pupil's Individual Education Plan. Will also help to coordinate activities, materials and methods to meet individual student needs and enhance pupil strength. Will further maintain accurate pupil session notes and will communicate with special education team and parent daily. Will provide help with homework and other clerical duties as assigned. Instructional Aide will provide support for students with special needs in the classroom environment and support the Special Day Class teachers, General Education team and/or Speech & Language Pathologist, occupational therapist, school nurse, and uphold the core values of the Chowchilla Union High School District. View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications US High school diploma or GED (must provide proof) One of the following three qualifications
  • Two years of higher education (48 Semester Units or 72 Quarter units of college coursework)
  • An associate's degree; or
  • A passing score on the state's paraprofessional assessment (to be developed) 1+ years working with students in a Special Education Setting. A complete application packet will, at a minimum, include:
  • A Complete Ed Join Employment Application
  • Letter of Introduction (Should indicate any credentials and certifications that are held and/or on file with the District)
  • Professional Resume (Should consist of all relatable work experience to the position to which you are applying at this will assist in salary placement)
