r46858-95531 Job Description ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dependable Paraprofessional for a school-based opportunity in Crescent City, California. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to bring their pediatric experience into an educational environment. Previous school-based experience is not required! Candidates with pediatric experience from healthcare, childcare, behavioral health, ABA, caregiving, daycare, or similar settings are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and classroom-based support to students
• Assist students with academic, behavioral, and developmental needs
• Work alongside teachers and other school professionals
• Help students remain engaged and successful throughout the school day
• Follow student support plans and school procedures
• Provide a safe, positive, and encouraging environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children/pediatric populations required
• School-based experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with special needs or behavioral support is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $16.90 to $35.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
