The Cottonwood school is a tuition-free, public charter school serving transitional kindergarten through 12th-grade students in Alpine, Amador, El Dorado, Placer, and Sacramento Counties. Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the Library Supervisor, this position supports the delivery of engaging, accessible arts experiences for TK-12 students at The Cottonwood School. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys the arts, works well with students, and is eager to contribute to arts education. Under the direction and supervision of certificated staff and program leadership, this position assists with arts activities, student projects, instructional materials, events, and the program's overall implementation. The employee may support learning across one or more creative disciplines, including visual arts, music, dance, theatre, and media arts.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent One (1) year of experience in a related field or position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Basic proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and virtual communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Chat, or similar tools) Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, child development, or a related field Experience working at The Cottonwood School Employment Requirements SB 484 Verification Background Clearance Tuberculosis Clearance (Risk Assessment or Skin Test) I-9 Verification (Appropriate US Work Permits as required) Complete Required Mandatory Trainings for School Employees Valid California Driver's License, proof of auto insurance, and access to a reliable personal vehicle for required work-related travel. Travel & Driving Requirements This position requires regular travel to various locations, including student homes, school sites, and events, to fulfill assigned responsibilities. Employees are expected to use a reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel unless otherwise assigned. Employees must maintain the required licensure, insurance, and driving record standards to perform essential job functions.
