This is a permanent position in our Primary classroom (ages 3-6)
Hours:
8:30am-4:30pm Salary will depend on experience Supporting early childhood development in a nurturing, engaging Montessori classroom environment. Assistant Teachers will work closely with Lead Teachers to help implement Montessori-based curriculum, support daily classroom routines, and foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages independence, curiosity, and social-emotional growth.
Requirements:
Bilingual (required) Minimum of 12 units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (required) Experience working with young children in a preschool, daycare, or similar setting is highly valued We are looking for warm, reliable, and collaborative individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and aligned with Montessori principles.

Responsibilities Support lead teachers in implementing Montessori curriculum and lesson plans across subjects such as literacy, math, and behavior management. Assist with classroom organization, including setting up learning materials and maintaining a clean, engaging environment. Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster social-emotional development, independence, and curiosity. Support toddlers, preschoolers, or early childhood learners in their daily routines such as snack time, bathroom breaks, and transitions.

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
