Job Description

Job Overview:
Fibo Art was founded in 2005. Today, we have 4 locations in Orange County. We are currently seeking to find amazing, talented artists that are looking to share their love or art with young kids and join our team!
ART SKILL
This position requires that you have a degree in Art or equivalent skill. You will be asked to send in examples of your artwork that show your ability to draw and/or paint realistically. This can be done via attachments to an email and/or links to a website or social media account.
TEACHING
This position requires that you have some prior experience working and/or teaching children. Ideally, younger children in a classroom setting as a lead teacher.
SCHEDULE
We operate as a year-round after-school activity. There are 4 employees at each location and all employees work the full schedule, therefore, you must be able to work ALL days/times of Tue-Fri 3-7 and Sat 9-5.
TRAINING
We provide 3-6 weeks of training prior to position placement. Training consists of on-the-job training, on-demand virtual training and in-person rehearsals. Everyone is trained on ALL positions during the training period.
POSITION PLACEMENT
Position placement is not determined until the completion of the training period. Position placement is determined based on your performance during the training period and the needs of the company at the time of position placement. You must be willing to go where needed, both in terms of studio location and position within a studio.
LOCATION
Once placed in a position, that is your steady position, and in general does not change. However, you must be willing to sub at any of the other locations, on an as-needed basis. This doesn't happen often, but it's important you are willing to help out, when needed. Also, we always take into consideration where you live when determining final position placement, but cannot guarantee a studio location upon hire. If you are placed at a location that is not your first choice, we will always take that into consideration and consider you when a position becomes available at your preferred location. PAY During Training $20/hour After Training $23/hour (without teaching credential) / $25/hour (with teaching credential)
CURRICULUM
All curriculum is provided by the company.
SUPPLIES
All supplies are provided by the company. UNIFORM All employees wear a company-provided shirt, along with jeans and closed toe shoes. Tattoos must be covered at all times. No facial piercings allowed. Natural-colored hair only.
