Job Description

OCKidzConnect are seeking qualified individuals for part-time positions in assisting students individually, or in groups, as part of an after school or extended day enrichment program designed to expand learning opportunities. This career opportunity is 19.75 hours per week, Openings for part-time positions at the After School Program have set hours of 2pm - 6pm; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and 12pm - 6pm on Wednesday (Hours subject to change) . Applicants for these positions MUST be available to work the posted hours Monday through Friday from August 7th 2026 through May 31st 2027. This is a contracted position for the months listed. The contract can continue on for as long as you can do it and are doing the job well.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education:
Graduation from high school equivalent.
Experience:
Recent experience in working with children or youth groups, and instruction in a physical fitness and recreation environment. Must have a current TB test and have a live scan done or be willing to get it quickly, CPR and First aid certification also needed. Start Date August 7 2026 through May 31, 2027

In person Requirements Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, babysitting, or early childhood education Knowledge of classroom management, behavior management, and childhood development principles CPR and First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire Background in teaching, special education, Christian counseling, sports coaching, theater, or childcare is highly desirable Ability to engage children through creative activities like arts & crafts or drama Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and parents Reliable transportation is preferred but not mandatory depending on program location Passion for fostering a positive environment that encourages learning and personal growth
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
