If you enjoy working with older elementary students, fostering independence, and helping children develop academically and socially, we'd love to meet you. At Arborland, we believe every child learns differently. Our teachers work together to create a nurturing, engaging environment where students are encouraged to think critically, solve problems, develop leadership skills, and grow with confidence. Responsibilities Support the Lead Teacher in providing a positive, organized, and engaging classroom environment. Work with individual students, small groups and whole class to reinforce or teach lessons and provide academic support. Assist with classroom management and help maintain a respectful, productive learning environment. Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and school events as assigned. Help prepare classroom materials and learning activities. Encourage students to develop independence, responsibility, and strong character. Assist with school-wide activities, field trips, and special events. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (Education or a related field preferred). Experience working with 4th-6th grade students in a classroom setting is strongly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Positive, dependable, and professional attitude. Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a teaching team. Passion for helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Montessori experience is a plus but not required. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
