Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Experience as a paraprofessional in a school or special education environment Ability to support students with Level 3 Autism and adapt to individual needs Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to student challenges Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with educators and therapists Understanding of behavioral intervention strategies and classroom management techniques Willingness to work full-time, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week) Commitment to maintaining a positive and respectful learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct, day-to-day support to students with intense needs, implementing individualized education and behavior plans Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment Assist with daily tasks, academic activities, and social skill development Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and other paraprofessionals to ensure cohesive support for each student Monitor and report student progress and behavioral changes to the educational team This role offers the unique opportunity to build lasting relationships and positively influence students educational experiences.
