9659239-95948 Job Description Support student success as an ASL Paraprofessional in an after-school environment. This contract position, located near Gridley, CA, offers an engaging opportunity to work with students across various sites. In this role, youll play a crucial part in fostering communication, inclusivity, and learning for students who are Deaf or hard of hearing.

Key Qualifications:

Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) Experience supporting school-aged children in educational settings is highly valued EIPA certification is not required Ability to adapt and engage with students at various grade levels Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled hours consistently

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to students during after-school activities and academic sessions from 2:30 to 6:00 PM Facilitate communication between students, staff, and peers using ASL Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and reinforcing classroom instruction Encourage positive interactions and engagement Monitor and ensure student safety and participation during after-school programs Travel to multiple sites as needed on assignment
