• 4:45pm with a 60 minute lunch break Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Substitute Teacher Assistant to join our client team at their LA location.

In this role, you will support the Lead Teacher in providing a high-quality learning environment for preschoolers (ages 3 to 5). This is a temporary, ongoing assignment starting April 8th, perfect for an educator looking for consistent hours in a rewarding Head Start environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and daily classroom activities. Ensure the safety and active supervision of children (ages 3-5) at all times. Support the social, emotional, and intellectual development of students. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Communicate effectively with staff and parents to support student success. Educational & Certification Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education:

Associate's (AA) or Bachelor's (BA) degree (required).

Early Childhood Education:

Minimum of 3 units in Child Development or Early Childhood Education.

Certification:

Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Health & Safety:

Must provide proof of TB clearance and meet state health requirements for childcare providers. Skills & Qualifications Previous experience working with preschool Able to change diapers Able to complete anecdotal observation notes. Knowledge of Head Start performance standards is a plus. Strong communication skills and a passion for early childhood education. Ability to maintain a consistent Monday-Friday schedule.

Pay Rate:

$18.00
