Job Description

Job Summary To assist a classroom teacher with the instruction of students; and to relieve a classroom teacher of routine clerical work. Provides student supervision.
Requirements / Qualifications
Proof of HS Graduation (Provide one of the following documents: HS Diploma or HS Transcript showing a date of graduation or GED or Higher Degree) Completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education, or obtained an associates (or higher) degree, or demonstrated through the passing of the District NCLB Compliance test. Possession of a valid California Driver's License. Fingerprint and TB clearance. Successful completion of an oral interview. Passage of approved written Instructional Aide I district test. Please ensure your letter of introduction and letters of recommendation are signed. Letter of Introduction (Signed) Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 Work Related Letters of Recommendation/Reference, Signed) NCLB Compliance (Provide one of the following documents: College Degree or College Transcripts showing at least 48 units or pass District NCLB Test) Proof of HS Graduation (Provide one of the following documents: HS Diploma or HS Transcript showing date of graduation or GED or Higher Degree) Resume Comments and Other Information Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) positions are contingent on funding of ELO-P by the State of California. Staff working ELO-P can be assigned times based on the needs of ELO-P. All candidates will be notified by Edjoin E-mail throughout the hiring process.
