St. Bede provides a faith-based, quality education that develops the whole child in partnership with the family and parish community.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of daily lesson plans and developmentally appropriate activities. Always supervise children throughout the daily routine, during classroom time. Support individual learning needs and foster self-esteem and independence Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and inviting classroom environment. Model Catholic values and foster a positive, collaborative atmosphere with staff and parents. Maintain records of progress and developmental milestones. Build collaborative relationships with families and school staff.

Requirements Education:

B.A degree in Child Development/Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Education Administration Courses. A minimum of 1 year experience working with preschool children.

Training:

Must have completed (or be willing to complete) Live Scan fingerprinting and VIRTUS "Protecting God's Children" training through the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

Certifications:

CPR and First Aid Certification; Child Development Site Supervisor Permit.

Skills:
