In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster early childhood development, ensuring each child's social, emotional, and academic growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners while gaining valuable classroom experience in a collaborative setting. Duties Assist lead teachers with implementing lesson plans Support classroom management by supervising children during activities, transitions, and outdoor play to promote safety and positive behavior. Engage children through play, and educational activities that promote childhood development and social skills. Maintain classroom organization by preparing materials, as well as cleaning and sanitizing toys and supplies Assist with Diaper changing and Potty training Assist students during mealtime Requirements 12 college units in Early Childhood education or Child Development Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom behavior management, and educational compliance standards. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and team members. Ability to supervise children safely while demonstrating patience and nurturing care. Certification in first aid and CPR ; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Familiarity with teaching strategies for children ages 2-5, as well as classroom behavior management. Ability to get up and down off of the floor or child size chairs to be at level with students for play and learning This role is ideal for passionate individuals eager to support young learners' growth while developing their skills in a professional educational environment.
Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
