This is a hands-on leadership position for a certified personal trainer who enjoys coaching, building relationships, driving sales, and helping create an amazing community within the studio. The Assistant Studio Gym Manager will work closely with the Studio Manager/Owner to help grow the business, support members and trainers, generate new leads, and ensure the studio delivers an exceptional experience every day. Responsibilities Sales & Lead Generation Follow up with new leads through phone, text, email, and social media Convert leads into consultations, memberships, and personal training clients Conduct studio tours and membership consultations Follow up with prospects and former members Help develop and execute lead-generation strategies Track leads, appointments, conversions, and sales activity Assist with membership retention and re-engagement Community Outreach & Business Growth Build relationships with local businesses and community organizations Develop partnerships and referral opportunities Participate in community events and promotional activities Help promote studio programs, challenges, events, and membership offers Represent the studio professionally both inside and outside the gym Training & Member Experience Must be a certified personal trainer Train clients and/or teach classes as needed Support trainers and members on the studio floor Help create a welcoming, motivating, and high-energy environment Build strong relationships with members and help them stay engaged with their fitness goals Assist with member retention and overall customer experience Studio Operations & Leadership Assist with daily studio operations Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional studio Support scheduling and trainer coverage Help onboard and support new team members Assist the Studio Manager with staff communication and accountability Identify opportunities to improve studio operations and member experience Step into a leadership role when the Studio Manager is unavailable What We're Looking For Current personal training certification required Sales experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confident and comfortable asking for the sale Self-motivated, energetic, and organized Strong follow-up skills Passion for fitness and helping people Comfortable with lead generation, networking, and community outreach Ability to build genuine relationships with members and prospective clients Positive attitude and strong leadership skills Available for a flexible schedule, including some early mornings, evenings, and weekends The Ideal Candidate You're not someone who simply wants to work at a gym — you want to help grow one. You enjoy talking to people, creating connections, closing sales, coaching clients, and being part of a team. You take initiative, follow through, and aren't afraid to pick up the phone, reach out to a lead, or introduce yourself to a potential community partner. Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 35.0 per week
