Candidates must be able to work in a team environment, adapt well to change, and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Planning & implementation of daily small group activities, supervision of school-age children, light housekeeping, snack preparation, organize group games, etc. Fully qualified after-school teacher is preferred with classes in early childhood education desired, however, no experience necessary for Teacher Assistants. Infant & Child First Aid and CPR is a plus.
Qualifications:
Education :
12+ units in early childhood education or enrichment based courses (to be determined by director) is preferred.
Experience :
6 - 18 months experience in a teaching assistant/teacher role (Preferred)
