We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, nurturing, and dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an educator who either has Montessori training or a genuine interest in learning and embracing the Montessori philosophy. For the right candidate, we are happy to assist with the cost of Montessori training and professional development. Responsibilities As our Lead Preschool Teacher, you will: Create and maintain a beautiful, engaging Montessori classroom environment. Guide and educate children ages 2½-6 years using Montessori principles. Observe each child's growth and maintain developmental records. Communicate with families through conferences and ongoing parent partnerships. Foster independence, confidence, kindness, and a lifelong love of learning. Collaborate with a supportive team of educators to provide an exceptional preschool experience. This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday) and includes occasional evening staff meetings and school events. Competitive salary based on education, experience, and qualifications. Assistant Preschool Teacher Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. We are also seeking caring and dependable Assistant Teachers to join our preschool team. Salary range for Assistant Teachers is $20-$21 per hour.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will:
Have completed at least 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units Be CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to obtain certification Have a genuine love for working with young children Have an interest in or appreciation for the Montessori philosophy Be dependable, flexible, positive, and a supportive team player Have a current TB clearance and Health Screening Report (or be able to obtain them before employment) Why Join Kensington Montessori?
