Candidates must be CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) trained and ready to work with a diverse K-12 caseload. Prior to your start, successful completion of all onboarding and clearance requirements is essential.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
CPI certification required and must be current Experience working as a paraprofessional or similar role in K-12 educational settings Able to support children with special and general educational needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility in adapting to various classroom and staff needs Reliability and a positive, team-oriented attitude Clearance of all onboarding, background, and reference checks prior to beginning assignment
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in delivering instruction and managing classroom activities Provide support to students in both group and one-on-one settings Help implement behavior intervention strategies under teacher or specialist direction Promote a safe and welcoming environment, utilizing CPI techniques as necessary Support classroom logistics, including preparation of materials and organization of activities Collect and report student data as directed by supervisory staff Experience the reward of helping students succeed in a dynamic school community.
